Monetize your idle GPU servers.
Bring production Windows-ready GPU capacity. SkyRig brings renters, billing, orchestration, support, and weekly payouts.
Host revenue
70%
You set the renter-facing price. SkyRig keeps a flat 30% platform fee.
You run the servers. SkyRig runs the marketplace.
Apply with your fleet
Tell us where your servers live, what GPUs you run, and how your facility is operated.
Connect approved capacity
After review, connect your node, finish payout onboarding, and register capacity for each GPU SKU.
Set prices and go live
Choose hourly rates for GPU, CPU, RAM, and storage. SkyRig publishes the listing and routes renters to you.
Get paid as renters use it
Usage is metered by the second. You keep 70% of renter spend and receive weekly payouts.
Built for serious operators with real capacity.
SkyRig is selective so renters get reliable machines and hosts get a marketplace worth participating in. If your fleet is stable, connected, and ready for Windows workloads, you are in the right place.
Production GPU servers
Purpose-built nodes with strong CPU, memory, NVMe storage, and passthrough-ready NVIDIA GPUs.
Datacenter networking
Reliable public connectivity, static IPv4 addressing, and committed transit for interactive workloads.
Windows-ready capacity
Each GPU SKU needs a sysprepped Windows template that boots renters directly into an RDP-ready VM.
Operator discipline
Hosts keep hardware online, protect tenant data, and follow SkyRig onboarding and support procedures.
Set your own prices. Get paid weekly.
You control pricing
Set separate hourly prices for GPU, vCPU, RAM, and storage. Adjust them as demand changes.
Weekly payouts
Stripe Connect Express handles banking, KYB, tax forms, and payout delivery.
Flat platform fee
SkyRig keeps 30%. The fee covers billing, fraud, chargebacks, support, and marketplace operations.
Renter support included
SkyRig handles billing questions, refund disputes, and tier-1 renter support.
Your infrastructure stays under your control.
SkyRig coordinates rentals over the Proxmox API, meters usage, and handles renter-facing operations. You keep ownership of the servers, the network, and the maintenance window.
Tenant isolation
Renters run inside isolated KVM virtual machines through Proxmox. Hosts do not access tenant VMs, disks, or memory.
Availability matters
SkyRig tracks uptime by node. Strong availability improves marketplace standing; sustained downtime can pause listings.
No hypervisor agent
SkyRig talks to the Proxmox API over an authenticated endpoint you control. Your hypervisor stays yours.
Approved host profile
The technical details, once you are ready for them.
These requirements help renters get predictable performance and help hosts avoid one-off support work during every rental.
Facility and node checklist
- 8+ GPUs in a production facility
- RTX-series GPUs such as RTX 3090, RTX 4080, or RTX 5090
- PCIe bandwidth: 16 GB/s per GPU, such as Gen 4 x8 or Gen 3 x16
- 4+ vCPUs with 3+ GHz boost per GPU
- 16 GB or more RAM per GPU
- 1 TB NVMe SSD storage per GPU
- GPU passthrough enabled in BIOS and Proxmox
- Proxmox VE 8.x with cloud-init drive support
- Static public IPv4, with a /29 or larger preferred for multi-VM nodes
- 1 Gbps committed, symmetric, unmetered transit
Windows guest, sysprepped
Install Windows Server or Windows 10/11 Pro, GPU drivers, and renter-facing tooling. Run sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown so each clone receives a fresh SID, hostname, and OOBE pass.
cloudbase-init installed
SkyRig sets the Administrator password through the Proxmox cloud-init drive. cloudbase-init reads that metadata on first boot, enables RDP, opens the firewall, and applies the password.
One template per GPU SKU
Each listing points to a template with the right PCIe passthrough config and a cloud-init drive attached. Base disks should be no larger than your smallest storage tier.
Questions hosts ask before applying.
Is SkyRig Windows-only?+
Yes. SkyRig is a Windows platform by design. Every renter listing clones a Windows template you provide, so apply only if you can prepare and maintain sysprepped Windows templates.
How quickly can approved hosts go live?+
Most approved hosts can take live rentals within about a week after Stripe Connect, Proxmox access, pricing, and templates are ready.
How does the revenue share work?+
You set the renter-facing per-component price. Your take is fixed at 70% of that price; SkyRig keeps 30% for billing, fraud, chargebacks, support, and platform operations.
What does SkyRig do per rental?+
SkyRig full-clones the template, sets the renter Administrator credentials, resizes CPU, RAM, and boot disk, then starts the VM. It does not manage the running guest.
Can I list multiple GPU types?+
Yes. A single Proxmox host can serve multiple GPU SKUs as separate listings, with each SKU pointing at its own Windows template.
Do I need to run SkyRig software on my hypervisor?+
No. You run Proxmox VE and provide an authenticated API endpoint. SkyRig does not install an agent on your hypervisor.
